Pick a year of Plus, three months or ten stories. Add a message and, if you like, the day it should arrive.
2. They get the code
We email it to their parent on the day you chose, and send you a printable card to hand over too.

They add the child's name and favourite things, and a new story starring them is read aloud at bedtime.

Questions about gifts
Does the family need an account?
They make one when they redeem the code (it takes a minute and the first step is free). You don't need one to buy the gift.
Does anything renew?
No. A gift is one payment. When the months run out the family keeps every story they made, and can choose a plan of their own if they like.
Can I choose the day it arrives?
Yes. Pick a delivery day and we email the gift to their parent that morning. You get the code and a printable card straight away, so you can also hand it over yourself.
What if they already subscribe?
Story gifts (10 stories) add to any account. Months of Plus are for a family without a plan that renews; they can redeem it after their own plan ends.
Which languages?
Stories are written and read aloud in 19 languages, so a gift works for families who speak Punjabi, Spanish, Polish, Arabic and more at home.
